        Originally from Syracuse, NY, Keith has lived in Florida, Arizona, Iowa, &

Beijing, China, and has been residing & teaching in the Denver area since 2000.

His travels have led him on many wonderful adventures in over 30 countries (most recently,

Mongolia & Cambodia) across 5 continents. His most rewarding experience was visiting and

living in the People’s Republic of China and Hong Kong. Keith had the incredible oppor-

tunity to learn about Chinese culture and language as he encountered many facets of life in

Beijing, Hong Kong, Guangzhou (Canton), Shanghai, the Shaolin Temple, and dozens of other

cities and sites throughout China. Unquestionably, the highlight of all his international travels

is the multiple gung fu training expeditions he has undertaken since 1999 to receive personal-

ized training from his Sifu’s, Master Ron Heimberger and Grandmaster Ip Ching, at Ip Man’s

Ving Tsun Athletic Association headquarters & in Ip Man’s former home in Hong Kong.

Founder, owner, & lead instructor:

       Sifu Keith Worfel is a fully certified Master Instructor in Ip Man’s Ving Tsun Athletic Association (VTAA, Hong Kong) and the Ving Tsun Ip Ching Athletic Association (VTICAA, Hong Kong) under his Sifu, Grandmaster Ip Ching, youngest son of Great Grandmaster Ip Man.

       Keith began his martial arts career in Arizona in 1995, and in 1998 he humbly accepted the honor of becoming an internationally certified instructor in the art Wing Chun Gung Fu under his late Sifu, Master Ron Heimberger. Keith has had the extreme privilege and distinction of being a student of Master Heimberger prior to being accepted as direct, personal disciple of Grandmaster Ip Ching. Sifu Keith continues to travel to Hong Kong annually to train directly with his gung fu Brothers & Sisters at their schools in Hong Kong.
